On the afternoon of April 19, 2020, the launching ceremony of the "Ningbo High-end Equipment Overseas Engineers Collaborative Innovation Center" hosted by Ningbo Municipal Party Committee Talent Office and Ningbo Science and Technology Bureau, and undertaken by Ningbo Beilun District Committee and Beilun District People's Government was held in Beilun. The director of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, the deputy director of the Organization Department of the Municipal Party Committee, and the head of Beilun District attended the event and delivered speeches.
The "Joint Establishment of the Electric Drive Technology Innovation Center" co-operated by Physis and the University of Nottingham Ningbo China took the lead in signing the contract at the meeting. Mr. Ren Wenjie, chairman of the company, and Cui Ping, vice president of the University of Nottingham Ningbo China, attended and signed on-site.
This cooperation mainly focuses on three directions:
1. Actively track and master the latest trends in the development of global servo electric drive technology products;
2. Give full play to the respective advantages of the university and the enterprise to promote the improvement of technology in this field;
3. Jointly cultivate and train high-tech talents required for the development of this field.
